Working in the advertising industry in Vietnam for many years has never stopped Toan to explore new opportunities and seek out new challenges.

Started his career in 2010, Toan immersed himself in the industry with the two most popular communication tools, which are PR and events, at the time, to connect brands and their consumers.

When Digital and Social Media emerged in Vietnam, Toan was part of one of the teams that first leveraged digital in advertising campaigns and showcased his creativity for both local and international brands, including the Coca-Cola company, Piaggio, FV Hospital, and so on.

Later on, when having a chance to work for Samsung portfolio, Toan has leveraged all newly-available and cutting-edge digital tools to bring his ideas to life, helping the brand to stay relevant and up-to-date.

Moreover, Toan has assisted brands, such as Prudential, Vichy, Bridgestone, Close Up, Warrior Energy Drink, Comfort, Nguyen Kim, and Maggi, SURF, MyVIB in re-launching the brand, enhancing their awareness and presence online, building relationships with their target audiences through the usage of various digital platforms and tools.

Toan believes that with his deep devotion to culture, human behaviors, and interests in data, technology trends, he can help brands to be present, stay relevant, and connect better with their target audiences. He has proved that through effective digital campaigns that

made COKE brand as most associated with Tet 2014,

was featured on TOP YOUTUBE ADS LEADERBOARD with SAMSUNG  2016, 2017,

won VIETNAM BRONZE SMARTIES Award 2020 with the MAGGI Covid-19 campaign,

won APAC GOLD SMARTIES Award 2020 with WARRIOR Energy Drink.

Keeping up with the constant changes nowadays, Toan continues his journey in FPT Corporation ecosystem as Associate Marketing Director to  move further in tech-adoption marketing communication. The hybrid competence of stratety, planning and creativity empowers him to conquer the challenges in Digital 5.0 era.

A TRAVEL ADDICTED

He has been taking a yearly trip with his little bicycle to many places across Vietnam to look-feel-taste-hear-smell all truly about culture and lifestyle.

His non-stop “obsession” over human nature has led him to great philosophers, such as Plato, Kant, Nietzche, Bertrand Russel, Paul Sartre, Albert Camus …; psychologists, including Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, Adler, Albert Ellis,... and great literature authors, such as Frederic Beigbeder, Umberto Eco, Thomas More, Milan Kundera, Paul Auster, Gabriel Garcia Marquez...

He also extends his readings to marketing & business reports and trend predictions to help him stay updated.

 A TEACHER

His many years work experience in marketing and creativity has made him become the visiting university lecturer of Creative Process, Copywriting, Art Appreciation at Hoa Sen University, Hochiminh University of Economics and Finance.

 

 A NORMAL GUY
